Meet the Artist

Hello! I’m Jayden, the artist behind Lonesome Moon Studios, and I’m so glad you’re here.

I grew up in the beautiful, rugged landscapes of Northern Idaho, where my love for the outdoors blossomed among the wild weeds and breathtaking scenery. These formative years deeply influenced my work, and nature continues to inspire my art.

I earned my Bachelor’s in Fine Art, with an emphasis in drawing, painting, and printmaking. One of the highlights of my artistic journey was studying impressionistic painting in the hometown of Paul Cézanne in France—an experience that profoundly shaped my approach to color and composition.

While I later pursued a Master’s in Marriage and Family Counseling, life had a way of pulling me back to my true passion: art. I rediscovered this calling through pottery classes, where I found a way to merge my love of ceramics with my background in painting. This fusion of techniques led me to create a style that is uniquely my own.

In starting Lonesome Moons Studios, my goal is to bring art into everyday life. I create handcrafted pottery that is not only functional but also a piece of art, crafted with the same care and passion I’ve always poured into my work. Each piece tells a story, blending creativity with the beauty of nature, and I am so grateful to share it with you.

Thank you for supporting my journey and for allowing my art to become part of your everyday life!

Meet the Studio Assistants

I’m lucky to have a team of very dedicated (and furry) studio assistants who keep things running smoothly here at Lonesome Moons Studios. Meet Grady, Koe, and Hank—each of them brings their own special talents to the table, and by talents, I mean naps, snacks, and keeping the floor warm.

Together, they make sure that every studio day is filled with plenty of love, laughs, and occasional chaos. They may not make pottery, but they sure know how to keep the creative energy flowing.
